Haven’t You Learn Anything?

“Are you out there? Are you hearing me? Haven’t you learn your lesson? Are you falling in love again?”

“I want to live not die.”

“All those wounds are you sure?”

“Yes and you should join me. Trust me it changes everything.”

“I don’t want to change unless I can be healed.

“It will brings you back to innocence.”

“Well then, in that case…I am coming.”

Things That Kill

As she lied, her last breath fluttered lightly.  “your fragility will depend on how much you love. Don’t give your love unless you want to die.”

A Dark Laughter: The wolves were spotted (this time) wearing sheep clothes

I have seen the light.

It wasn’t bright, it wasn’t dark.
Neutrality fades away so quickly,
It was never even a light, but an illusion.

So many haters fill this wall
I can hear their shadows screaming envy.
Their laughter, cacophony!
There’s no euphony here
And it will only take one man with dead vision
To plummet the system out of existence.
Just as much as it takes one hater to pollute the minds
Of the thin headed it must take the same.
A strong soul left out in the dark shall strive head high.
Just as much as it takes a hater, a dead vision,
It must take the strong soul
To pollute the minds of the thin headed positively.
I have surrendered to the notion that only those who you believe in
Have the sharpest sword to pluck
Deep into your dreams and if your are not strong you might falter
And they will laugh even if your blood runs a stream.
Beware! Beware! Beware!
Not all those who laugh with you have good intentions.

He is a deeply a serious thinker and tries to portray this persona of his through his writings, but he also takes pleasure in simple things and enjoying life. Working out, traveling to exotic places are next in line to his writing passion. His interest also ranges from deep space exploration, to music (Jazz, Celtic, R&b, Pop and more), history, politics, philosophy, current events and religious diversities. His favorite eras are the medieval era and 1890-1970, but as a person who likes to be involve in what’s happening around him, Mcnonwuun will tell you his interest continues to grow. One of his fascination is with war and the fact that one man (leaders, politicians) can cause so much destruction by imploring people, nations and groups to carry out vicious acts against humanity, sometimes without consequences.
As an artist, McNonwuun almost always wears his heart on his sleeves, and is not afraid to express his opinion or ask the questions that many avoid. This is mostly reflected in his writings and many other forms of arts. He is also a filmmaker who spent most of his time in that field. To know more about Mcnonwuun and his work, please visit his

The Lovers’ Complains

“He was a good man who sang and wrote to me for a week. This is his last letter, a poem, ‘Daughter Of Zion.’ Reverend I was falling for him and would have allowed him my heart. But then he failed miserably. Into the cold dark night he came moody and tense. There it was, between his legs, stood his firm, long and large tentacles as he smiled lustfully at me! I am a child of God! Created in his image! I will not fornicate or devour my body, which is the empale of God. I want him but he has to marry me before I gave him the key to this temple.”

Three Hours later…

“I have come from far Reverend, and by God what have I learn? Does mercy really exist and does God loves us continuously? I’m losing sight of that in this love dilemma of mine. Many things have become meaningless overtime. I was in love with her until she drained her love out of me with her vain attitudes. I love her though, but as a friend and maybe someday…but I wonder about the truth now that I think about it. And it frightens me even more because I’m just a man, I cannot afford to fall in and out of love. I want something’s to be eternal. Is she the one?”
“Go back to your knees your lover is in God’s hand.”
“But I’m young!”
“By God, age has little to do with love. You are young. Go to your knees. Pray. God has your wife.”

And just a thought…I wonder who’s telling the truth?

Excerpts from “Hills Of Exile”

“The butcher, John Townsend, with apron stained with animal manure and blood, stood in his butchery, swines haggling about his gibbets. He was chewing a yellow root that saturated his bushy beard with dry yellow saliva.” Hills Of Exile, coming this fall.
